Construction Supervisor
Location: Timmins, Cochrane & Kirkland Lake Region, Ontario
Schedule: Monday to Friday (subject to change based on project requirements)
Travel Required: Regular travel to various project sites throughout Northern Ontario
Digalot is a growing construction contractor providing civil construction and mine support services throughout Northern Ontario. We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead field crews on a variety of mining and heavy civil construction projects. Responsibilities

Supervise daily field operations while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to client

specifications.

Lead and mentor crews consisting of operators, labourers, truck drivers, and subcontractors.

Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower to meet project schedules.

Conduct daily toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and safety inspections.

Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and Ontario health and safety legislation.

Maintain accurate daily reports, production records, and equipment utilization.

Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Identify and resolve field issues while minimizing impacts to production.

Monitor productivity, quality, and environmental compliance.

Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example.
Qualifications
-
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in mining, heavy civil, or construction.

Strong knowledge of mining construction practices including earthworks, road construction, tailings
-
facilities, and heavy equipment operations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
-
Ability to read construction drawings and project specifications.
-
Valid Class G Driver's Licence.

Clean driver's abstract.

Ability to obtain site-specific mine orientations and security clearances.

Surface Miner Common Core Modules

Experience working at remote mine sites

Travel Requirements
This position requires regular travel between project sites in the Timmins, Cochrane, and Kirkland Lake areas.
Overnight stays may be required depending on project location.
Heavy Equipment Operators
We are seeking reliable, safety-focused, and skilled Equipment Operators to support our construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, operate equipment safely and efficiently, and contribute positively to a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to:

Excavators

Loaders

Bulldozers

Rock Trucks

Fuel Trucks

Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance checks.

Identify, report, and document equipment defects, malfunctions, or damage.

Load, unload, and transport materials as directed.

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements.

Maintain accurate equipment logs and maintenance records.
-
Work collaboratively with supervisors, operators, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid equipment operator certification or licence (where applicable).

Demonstrated experience operating heavy equipment in construction, mining, civil, or related industries.

Strong understanding of safe work practices and equipment operation procedures.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.

Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation required.
Preferred Skills & Experience

Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic troubleshooting and minor equipment repairs.

Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and operating procedures.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Experience working in remote, industrial, or heavy civil construction environments.
