Bookkeeper
with office managerial duties

​​​Location: Cochrane, ON 

Schedule: 25-35 hours per week. Work hours flexible.

Salary Range: $24.00 to $32.00 (based on qualifications and experience)​

 

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee the day to day financial and administrative operations of our Company.

​​

Bookkeeping Responsibilities

  • Full cycle bookkeeping in Sage 50 - accounts payable, accounts receivable, payments processing, bank reconciliations.

  • Maintain General Ledger Record and support month-end and year-end with external accountants.

  • Prepare and Submit government remittances and filings, including HST/GST returns and other required reports.

  • Payroll Processing – bi-weekly payroll with an outside payroll provider - T4 slips, Records of Employment, WSIB.

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule.

Office Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficient administrative process and well organized.

  • Maintain Office Records, filing systems, and confidential business documentation.

  • Coordinate daily office chores, supplies, filing systems, obtain permits, and maintain confidentiality.

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Full Cycle experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in Sage 50 preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • General office experience.

  • Ability to meet deadlines with little supervision.

  • Valid Class G Driver's Licence.​​

Construction Supervisor

 

​​​Location: Timmins, Cochrane & Kirkland Lake Region, Ontario

Schedule: Monday to Friday (subject to change based on project requirements)

Travel Required: Regular travel to various project sites throughout Northern Ontario

 

Digalot is a growing construction contractor providing civil construction and mine support services throughout Northern Ontario. We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead field crews on a variety of mining and heavy civil construction projects. If you are a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values safety, and enjoys working in the mining industry, we want to hear from you.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily field operations while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to client

  • specifications.

  • Lead and mentor crews consisting of operators, labourers, truck drivers, and subcontractors.

  • Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower to meet project schedules.

  • Conduct daily toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and safety inspections.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and Ontario health and safety legislation.

  • Maintain accurate daily reports, production records, and equipment utilization.

  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

  • Identify and resolve field issues while minimizing impacts to production.

  • Monitor productivity, quality, and environmental compliance.

  • Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in mining, heavy civil, or construction.

  • Strong knowledge of mining construction practices including earthworks, road construction, tailings

  • facilities, and heavy equipment operations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to read construction drawings and project specifications.

  • Valid Class G Driver's Licence.

  • Clean driver's abstract.

  • Ability to obtain site-specific mine orientations and security clearances.

  • Surface Miner Common Core Modules

  • Experience working at remote mine sites

Travel Requirements

This position requires regular travel between project sites in the Timmins, Cochrane, and Kirkland Lake areas.

Overnight stays may be required depending on project location.

Heavy Equipment Operators

​​​We are seeking reliable, safety-focused, and skilled Equipment Operators to support our construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, operate equipment safely and efficiently, and contribute positively to a team-oriented environment.​

​

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to:

    • Excavators

    • Loaders

    • Bulldozers

    • Rock Trucks

    • Fuel Trucks

  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance checks.

  • Identify, report, and document equipment defects, malfunctions, or damage.

  • Load, unload, and transport materials as directed.

  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements.

  • Maintain accurate equipment logs and maintenance records.

  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, operators, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
     

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid equipment operator certification or licence (where applicable).

  • Demonstrated experience operating heavy equipment in construction, mining, civil, or related industries.

  • Strong understanding of safe work practices and equipment operation procedures.

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.

  • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation required.
     

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic troubleshooting and minor equipment repairs.

  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and operating procedures.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Experience working in remote, industrial, or heavy civil construction environments.
